Cleaning Tea Tree Recipes
Tea Tree Mold Spray
This is a great spray to keep handy in the bathroom. Spray it in the shower after using to keep mold and mildew at bay. While the scent of the tea tree oil may be strong at first, it will subside.
- 2 teaspoons tea tree oil
- 2 cups water
Combine in a bottle with a spray nozzle and shake well to combine. Spray where required. Rinsing is not necessary.

- 1 bath towel
Place all ingredients into the water. Place the towel over your head and lean over the bowl, making sure that the towel is keeping the steam inside. Breath slow and deep breaths through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Inhale the steam for 5-10 minutes.

Great to use after a long workout on sore muscles.
- 3-5 drops tea tree oil
- 2 tablespoons carrier oil of your choice
Mix the tea tree oil with a carrier oil, such as apricot kernel oil or sweet almond oil. Massage the mixture into sore areas. This can be applied twice daily for a couple of weeks or until the discomfort stops.
Fungal Skin Infections
Rarely, lavender oil and tea tree oil can cause rashes when used together. If a rash develops, discontinue use.
- 4 drops tea tree oil
- 2 drops lavender oil
